So last quarter, we had a floor-wide auction: people sold things like food, bathroom-cleaning or violin serenades, with the proceeds going to the House. I offered a short story to the buyer's specifications.
The girl who ended up buying it demanded a story about people from the house, taking place in the neighborhood, and including llamas and world peace, among other things. It took me forever to write, but last week I finally managed.
The result is posted (accompanied by awesome illustrations) on the blog of another friend of mine.
Go here to read it.
It will give you a glimpse of student life at the amazing University of Chicago. Plus, it has
llamas!
